Jamba Juice Review (Marysville, WA)

Jamba Juice is similar to Canada’s Booster Juice or Jugo Juice (both Alberta-founded) – except it’s far superior to both.

Jamba’s smoothies are always the perfect consistency: super thick, yet easy to drink from a straw, well blended so they’re extra smooth and non-icy. Jamba uses real whole fruit and real fruit juice in is smoothies, and doesn’t use any additives or preservatives. With “heaping helpings” of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals you can add a complimentary shot, or “boost”, to your beverage such as their popular 3G Charger Boost or Probiotic Boost. Their smoothies are served in hardy styrofoam cups, so your drink stays cold, but your hand stays dry (zero condensation).

Jamba Juice offers varieties such as their Fruit & Veggie Smoothies, Classic Smoothies, All Fruit Smoothies, and even caters to those with special diets like vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free. Beverages can be ordered in sixteen, twenty-four or thirty ounce cups, priced between $3.40 – $5.20.

We frequent this Marysville location quite often and it is consistently clean and tidy, and employees are always friendly and efficient. It is a relatively small location, with one table inside and out. But Jamba Juice isn’t the kind of place where you lounge around. Customers grab their smoothies and go!

Jamba Juice doesn’t just stop at juices and smoothies – they also serve organic tea lattes, freshly brewed by the cup coffee, steel-cut oatmeal, grab-n-go wraps, salads, and sandwiches. Essentially this place is great for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Pictured on the bottom left is the size “Sixteen” (sixteen ounces) All Fruit Smoothie Pomegranate Paradise – Pomegranate juice, strawberries, mangos, and peaches with a Daily Vitamin Boost. No sugar added and dairy-free, this is one of their healthiest beverages, and it’s what I often order. On the right is the size “Sixteen” Classic Smoothie Aloha Pineapple: Pineapple juice, pineapple sherbet, strawberries, nonfat plain yogurt, bananas, and ice with a Daily Vitamin Boost. A little sweeter and creamier than my all-fruit smoothie, Jamba’s classic smoothies are definitely their most popular drinks.

Have you tried Jamba Juice? How do you think it compares to Jugo or Booster Juice?
