Mo:Lé Restaurant is an all day breakfast and lunch spot located in downtown Victoria, BC and is situated on Pandora Avenue (near Government Street). It caters to a wide clientele from vegans to raw foodies to carnivores – all tastes and eating philosophies are included at this eatery. Mo:Lé strives to source its meat and produce from local and organic farms when seasonally possible.
Mo’s Biscuit ($12.50) – Featured on their regular breakfast menu, this dish contained cream cheese scrambled eggs, crispy house bacon, fresh fragrant basil, roasted red bell pepper for a bit of sweetness, creamy havarti cheese, and house garlic aioli on a fluffy buttermilk biscuit. It was served with Mo:Lé’s famous pesto potatoes, alongside carrot and purple cabbage garnish for a striking visual contrast of colors.
Wild Smoked Salmon Scramble ($13) – This brunch special of the day consisted of three free run eggs scrambled with cream cheese and green onion and then topped with wild local smoked sockeye salmon and house made lemon-lime crème fraîche. The eggs were accompanied by pesto hashbrowns and hot buttered toast of your choice. Tip for celiacs or those avoiding wheat: Gluten-free bread can be substituted for toast and sandwiches for an additional two dollars.
From our Sunday brunch experience, Mo:Lé Restaurant provided attentive service and offered solid, satisfying meals consisting of fresh ingredients.
