Peninsula Pizza Review (Saanichton, BC)

Located on East Saanich Road in a shopping complex right beside Shoppers Drug Mart, you’ll find a little neighbourhood pizza joint called Peninsula Pizza. Open daily from 4pm, this two-for-one pizza parlor caters to locals with fresh, made-to-order pizzas. There are plenty of unique pizzas that will pique your interest, including Donair with tzatziki sauce and a seafood slendor call Pink Cadillac. Their current spotlight dish, a large Pulled Pork pizza for $15.61, certainly sounds tempting.

Pizza not your thing? No worries, you can choose from a variety of dinner alternatives such as bbq chicken, hot wings, baby back ribs, and salads.

Hawaiian with “lotsa ham and lotsa pineapple”.

Garden Veggie with mushrooms, onions, green peppers, black olives, and tomatoes.

My brother’s allergic to dairy, so the shop kindly accommodated for his dietary needs and created a hearty, meaty pizza without cheese. (He’d already dug-in before we had a chance to snap of picture of the tasty pizza pie in all its glory). Alternatively, those with lactose intolerance can even order pizza with soya cheese upon request. Have a different allergy such as gluten intolerance? Fret-not, they also offer gluten-free pizza dough on a 10.5″ crust for $14.95 with up to four toppings.

If you’d prefer your pizza delivered and live in the surrounding area, then you’re in luck. Peninsula Pizza offers hot ‘n’ speedy delivery service for minimum orders of $18 to Saanichton, Brentwood, Dean Park, Tanner Ridge, Keating, and Ardmore neighbourhoods.
