We reached a milestone birthday this year, so a bunch of us girls went up to Whistler on the weekend to celebrate with fantastic food, drinks and entertaining company. I turned the big….wait, I won’t divulge how old I am, but let’s just say it was a huge one!
We ate A LOT this weekend - everything from fine dining at Araxi Restaurant + Bar to casual fare at Splitz Grill. Lexi raved about Splitz hot dogs, so we all grabbed one for a quick lunch on Saturday afternoon. These puppies did not disappoint! Grilled to order, the hot dog meat was über juicy and sandwiched between a pillowy soft bun. (Japadog should really take note).
Hot dog aficionados might not approve, but these Jumbo Hot Dogs ($5.50) are often ordered with the works - relish, onions, lettuce, cheese, ketchup, mustard, Splitz Sauce, etc. The cook even drew a flower with ketchup and mustard on my bun! Too cute. Splitz Grill is an excellent spot for casual eats in Whistler - come get Splitzed!
