Fol Epi organic bakery is a true Vancouver Island gem. Located at Victoria’s Dockside Green, across the Johnson and Bay Street Bridges, Fol Epi creates breads and pastries with a subtle refinement to them evoking flavors of Europe.
The superb bakery uses organic produce sourced from local farmers as much as possible. They carefully mill their organic flours in-house in a old fashioned stone grinder to ensure the best possible loaves. The result is a loaf with incredible texture and superior crust. Interested in baking your own bread at home? Stone ground flour from two heritage grains (red fife wheat and rye) are available for purchase at Fol Epi in 1kg or 2kg quantities.
For lunch, you can order one of their fantastic daily made sandwiches such as the pastrami with peppery arugula on a crusty baguette. Alternatively, you can opt for a freshly baked pizza between 12pm – 2pm every day except Saturday.
Have a sweet tooth? Fol Epi’s macarons are exceptional and the caramel one is our favorite. Their little chocolate cakes are heavenly as well – not too sweet with a rich cocoa flavor.
