We were visiting family on Vancouver Island last weekend, and ventured into the heart of the quaint little town of Sidney for coffee. Located right at the end of Beacon Ave, on the main level of the beautiful Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa, we decided Georgia Cafe and Deli would be the perfect spot to not only satisfy our caffeine cravings but also begin our stroll along Sidney’s picturesque waterfront.
With friendly, helpful service, Georgia Cafe and Deli provided an excellent array of baked goods, sandwiches and beverages.
Between the four of us we ordered two Caffè Umbria 12oz Americanos ($2.75), 12oz Mighty Leaf Bombay Chai Tea ($1.83), 12oz Mighty Leaf Chamomile Citrus Tea ($1.83), and one Pain au Chocolat ($2.23). I always enjoy Mighty Leaf teas, but I’ve never had espresso from Caffè Umbria (a coffee roasting company based in Seattle, with Italian roots). The smoothness and creaminess of the roast was exceptional. I’d love to find out where to purchase Caffè Umbria coffee in Vancouver.
With our hot beverages in hand we took a stroll along Sidney’s beautiful waterfront. Georgia Cafe and Deli is a must during your next visit to Sidney-by-the-Sea 🙂
