If you’re new to Vancouver and want to try out some of the best restaurants in town, then you must eat in Yaletown. Normally these upscale restaurants in this hip and trendy part of Vancouver is quite pricey, but once a year the Yaletown Business Improvement Association gets together with participating restaurants and they offer fixed 3-course meals for either $25, $35 or $45. This is called Taste of Yaletown.
More importantly, a portion of proceeds raised from each participating restaurant will be donated to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank. So on top of getting great value for your money, you’re also helping out a local charity. 
Taste of Yaletown is always VERY popular so it’s highly recommended that you make reservations well in advance. Here’s a list of the participating restaurants in the Taste of Yaletown 2009:
