Hi there, well I have to admit I do go to Richmond IHOP from time to time and was pleased to see a few more healthy options on the menu lately such as the turky bacon and egg white omelette with Swiss cheese. It was truly delicious and fairly healthy too. Great place to hang out for a super casual meal and endless coffee.

One thing people may want to keep in mind before going to IHOP is the restaurant has been exposed for animal cruelty and food safety issues in its supply chain: www.humanesociety.org/ihop.

Unlike many other restaurant chains, IHOP only uses eggs from hens confined in cages so small the birds can't even spread their wings. Each hen laying eggs for the restaurant is given less space than a single sheet of paper to live.

IHOP can and should do the right thing by joining Denny's, Wendy's, Burger King, Quizno's, Carl's Jr., Hardee's, and many more in switching to use cage-free eggs.
