Healthy Noodle House Review

Healthy Noodle House is located on 4th Avenue (corner of Stephens) in Kitsilano. The little restaurant offers healthy ‘no MSG’ noodle soup made fresh to order. You can customize your dish however you like: noodles, veggies, tofu, wontons, chicken, dumplings, prawns etc. They even have homemade hotsauce on every table – use sparingly, as it is extra hot and delicious.

The service was friendly and helpful. The cook/owner showed us how to fill out the order sheet – just like you would at an all you can eat sushi joint. Your choice of noodles, meat and veggies: I ordered soba noodles, chicken, wontons, carrots, spinach, onions, and cilantro. All soups are between $6.50 – $8.00, but they will charge you more for extra meat. However, the bowl is quite filling, so you wouldn’t really need any extra.

FYI: They take cash but you can go next door to the owner’s wife’s shop to pay with your debit card.

Healthy Noodle House soups are comforting and really do taste homemade. I think it’s the perfect meal to soothe your body during cold, rainy, Vancouver winters.
