Caffè Artigiano Kitsilano

by Taya on February 16th, 2010

Caffè Artigiano has been Vancouver’s premiere Italian-style coffee house and bistro since 2000.  For ten years now, Vancouverites have enjoyed the espresso art from their World Champion Baristas.  Currently, they have cafés in Calgary and Victoria and ten locations around greater Vancouver.  The founders and former owners of Caffè Artigiano also founded 49th Parallel Roasters, with a sophisticated café on 4th Ave. in Kits.

Caffè Artigiano offers a wonderful assortment of tasty baked goods, espresso, coffee and teas. Their blended drinks are also delicious.  Want to bring some coffee beans home to make your own drinks? You can purchase 1/2 or one pounds of beans from their Retail Coffee Menu. Prices are anywhere from $10.30 for their Private Reserve Espresso all the way up to $105.00 for a 1/2 pound of Panama La Carleida Best of Panama Winner #1! Wow!

I really enjoy this location as you can grab a drink and wander around the unique shops on West Broadway.  Or, stay and relax at this coffee house as it offers ample comfortable seating. Caffè Artigiano is definitely one of the better coffee shops in Vancouver, amongst hundreds of Starbucks and Blenz.

  • Caffè Artigiano's coffee tastes great. This is a good place to visit.
  • I already visit this coffee store and I feel great. Their services are good as well as their coffee.
  • Caffe Artigiano doesn't own 49th Parallel.

From my knowledge, didn't the people who started Cafe Artigiano also start 49th?

I've had your coffee before, it's okay but nothing special. Service by staff is inconsistent at times, and sometimes downright pretentious. For $5 for a latte, you'd think they would actually try smiling once or twice. I'd rather go to Tim Hortons.
  • That's correct. They started it, but haven't owned CA for several years now.

Bobby, if you're satisfied with what you get at TH, then we're happy that you're happy
