Triple O’s Kitsilano Review

Inside our lovely gift bags that we received from the Triple O’s On The Go launch party were a few free coupons for Triple O’s burger combos. Last week, we finally used two of them at Triple O’s Kitsilano location on Cornwall Avenue and Cypress Street. The restaurant is located in the same complex as Starbucks, right beside Siegel’s Bagels, and across the street from a delicious breakfast spot, Juliet’s Café.

It’s a small diner type of restaurant, but offers ample seating. A few comfy booths are provided along the wall of the left side of the restaurant and tables and chairs are scattered around its 50’s style black and white checkered floor. Even though it was a busy evening, the place was very clean and service was pleasant and friendly.

We had recently enjoyed Triple O’s beef burgers, so this time we opted for chicken burgers to see how they would compare. We chose the Chicken Supreme Burger Combo and the Spicy Ultimate Crunch Combo. Both of these chicken burgers are served with Triple O’s signature French fries and soft drinks. The cashier gives customers cups so they can pour their own drinks from the pop machine (so free refills are included). One of our orders of fries was clearly fresh out of the deep fryer because it was super hot and crispy. However, the other order was lukewarm and definitely old. Considering these meals were complimentary, we didn’t bother requesting fresh new chips, although perhaps we should have.

Chicken Supreme Burger – Pictured on the left, this boneless chicken breast burger has lettuce, tomato & honey mustard mayo on a toasted bun. Spicy Ultimate Crunch – A spicy breaded chicken breast with mayo, lettuce & tomato, also on a toasted bun. These burgers were awesome! I actually enjoyed them more than their regular burgers. Both buns were super soft and fresh, with a hint of sweetness. Both chicken breasts were cooked perfectly – tender and juicy – and the breaded chicken had a nice and thin batter. Also, the veggie toppings were very fresh.

Overall, this Triple O’s is a really excellent location, serving some of the best Triple O’s classics you can get in all of Vancouver! FYI: Free parking is provided out front in the shopping complex, although spots are limited. And for all those breaky enthusiasts, this Triple O’s serves breakfast until 11:00am, seven days per week.
