Located inside the Poipu Shopping Village, beside Puka Dog and Papalani Gelato, Poipu Tropical Burgers is a family friendly, casual open-air restaurant. In addition to a unique selection of burgers, they offer a large variety of other items on their seven page menu. And it’s a great spot for an early breakfast (and lunch), as they are open at 6:30am. Generous portions are served at standard Kauai prices (dishes hover around $10-$15).
Cobb Salad – with half a hard boiled egg, bacon pieces, shredded carrots, iceberg and green lettuce, red onion, chicken breast, crumbled blue cheese. This salad was so massive, I struggled to finish it off!
Guacamole Burger - Loaded with crispy bacon, mozzarella cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion, a not only a dollop of creamy guacamole, but sliced avocado as well. Yum! Fries were excellent, and this meal was also a ginormous portion.
Overall, Poipu Tropical Burgers provides fantastic service, and is a wonderful restaurant for families in the Poipu beach area of Kauai, Hawaii.
